The English Shotokan-Ryu Karate Kyokai is a reputable Karate organisation formed in 2007, dedicated to teachings high class traditional SHOTOKAN KARATE as passed down by Master Funakoshi and Master Nakayama and the Japan Karate Association.

The ESKK Honbu Dojo (head club) is based in Sidcup, Kent and is headed up and run by Kevin Thurlow 6 th Dan, who as well as being Chief Instructor of the ESKK, also holds national and Internationally recognised Instructor, Examiner and Referee qualifications.
Other ESKK clubs are run by other black belts from within the Association all of which also hold enhanced CRB certification, full professional indemnity and public liability insurances and full first aid qualifications. The ESKK follows a detailed Child Protection Policy which is kept up to date by the associations Child Protection Officers.
